What are powerful proven ways to motivate or engage staff in your organization?

How can you envision and create the culture you want for success?

Why do stories and illustrations connect so easily and memorably to others to make points?

These are just some of the topics Jim Mahoney addresses in To Lead Is To Teach. His aphorisms, anecdotes, stories, and examples come from his real world experience and the research of current thinkers on selected topics.

Written in the same engaging style he uses in speaking, Jim offers practical and useful strategies after a memorable introduction of himself. While his experiences are personal, his lessons are universal.

Forever a teacher, To Lead Is To Teach is a reminder that good teaching and effective leading are interchangeable. It is hard to separate the two and after each chapter, the reader is presented with the Mahoney Three—quick applications that any practitioner can use immediately in their classroom or organization.

This new work will engage, inspire, and support you in ways to improve your own practice of teaching and leading. All told through the lens of a powerful and experienced story teller.
